What is a water flosser?Oral health is vital and we must observe that we brush and clean our teeth at least twice daily. Uses of water flosser


A water flosser is used when there is food particles are stuck in between the teeth. The water flosser is an oral device that you hold on your hand and it directs a stream of water in between the teeth and gums so that the plaque, bacteria, and debris are washed away. This is important and plays an important role in your mouth. Food particles, bacteria, and plaque that stick in between the mouth can cause dental cavities and tooth decay. If you use a water flosser the plaque and bacteria are removed. By running water through the mouth any sugar substance left in the mouth is washed away. If sugar combines with bacteria it acts as a ground for enamel; erosion since it forms an acid.

Types of water flossers


The water flossers are found in many types like the shower flosser which attaches to the showerhead and you will floss after or before showering. The countertop flosser is heavy and uses electricity it needs to refill when the tank runs out of water. The battery-operated flosser is flexible and ideal if you are traveling. The faucet flosser attaches to your water basins and you can use it while bathing or even after.
