After debridement, we check for cavities and the gumline is probed to check for gum disease and to make sure the bone is health. What Can I Do to Prevent This Extensive Type of Cleaning in the Future?
To keep your teeth clean and problem-free, you need to brush for two minutes at least twice daily. Generally, it is best to brush in the morning after breakfast or before going to sleep at night. If you tend to get more than your fair share of calculus deposits, you need to make sure that you follow a regular course of suggested dental hygiene. Use a soft toothbrush when brushing, covering areas, such as the teeth, gums, cheeks, and tongue. Flossing at least once a day will keep any deposits from forming in hard-to-reach areas of the mouth.
