Improving Your Smile Before a Big Event

Posted on 7/13/2019 by Barbara Ketchum
Improving Your Smile Before a Big EventDo you have a big work event coming up? A large family gathering? Maybe even your wedding is approaching. No matter what big event it is, you want your smile to dazzle people. But what if your teeth are slightly stained or you have a chip in a tooth?

If you're embarrassed to smile, you're not going to be at your best at any time. That's why we want you to come in to see us before any major event so we can improve your smile. Here are a few of the things we can do for you.

Professional Teeth Whitening

If your teeth have been stained, you might have tried some of those over-the-counter whitening kits with some or little success. These kits can be very hit or miss, and none of them work as well as a professional whitening. We have access to stronger whitening products that will fully restore your smile.

Cracked or Chipped Teeth

There are a few different things we can do to fix a cracked or chipped tooth. In some cases, we may be able to fill the crack. In other cases, we may need to hide it in some way. Adding a veneer to your tooth may be an option, but this is permanent and isn't a full replacement tooth. Another option, if you have time before your event, would be to replace the tooth with an implant. This does take some time, though, so you should come see us as soon as you can if you believe this may be the best option.

Alignment
Another way we can improve your smile is by moving your teeth back into alignment using the Invisalign method. Again, though, this can take months or even a year, so it's not a quick way of improving your smile. Instead, it's something you may want to discuss with us now for a big event you know is coming up later on.

Give us a call today to discuss any of these options or to talk about your specific smile needs.
