The Amazing Properties of Saliva

•  Practice Good Oral Hygiene: Brushing your teeth twice a day and flossing daily helps to remove plaque and bacteria, reducing the amount of acid produced in your mouth.
•  Avoid Sugary Drinks and Snacks: Limiting your intake of sugary drinks and snacks reduces the amount of acid produced by bacteria in your mouth, giving your saliva a better chance to neutralize it.
•  Use a Humidifier: If you experience dry mouth at night, using a humidifier in your bedroom can help to keep your mouth moist.
